- What person would you most like to meet and why?
This would be a tie between Mahtma Gahndi, Martin Luther King, and Mother Theresa. As someone who is aspiring to be a guidance counselor as well as a role model to young adults through my writing, I would most like to meet with these three in order to learn from them. They were all extremely compassionate, peace-loving people who made amazing sacrifices. I would use the knowledge I gained from them to children how to be positive influences on their communities and to motivate them to be more proactive through tolerance, compassion and understanding.
- Name your favorite book and author. Why?
Dean Koontz - Lightening
I've read this book several times over the years. It is a timeless read for me. It follows the heroine from birth to mid-life. I read it for first time as a teen and was able to relate to the teen version of the character. I read it again as a twenty-something and was still able to relate to the character in her twenties. The main character was faced with a lot of hardships and was always able to confront them. Because of this, I have a lot of respect for her.
